Newly born fairy Tinker Bell (Mae Whitman) is transported by the wind to Pixie Hollow on the island of Neverland and learns that, as a tinker, her job is to repair broken items. When Tinker meets some new friends -- water fairy Silvermist (Lucy Liu), garden fairy Rosetta (Kristin Chenoweth) and animal fairy Fawn (America Ferrera) -- she realizes that she will not travel to the mainland to help bring about spring. This movie was the childhood of so many little girls like myself. It started a whole franchise that it is still thriving today. The cast is completely star studded and they bring their A-game to it. All of the characters are likable and have so much personality. I love that this movie focuses on the beginning of Tinker Bell and how she incorporates herself into pixie hollow. I love her friendship with the other girls as it was very wholesome and felt natural. The story was very cute and was pretty original. I will say some things really didn't need to be in the movie but it shows how Tinker Bell is going to grow from here and the personality we know and love comes through. I also think for it being made in the 2000s the animation has really held up and there was not one point where I was able to find a mistake. I really do love this movie and think it is a great story about finding your passion that every child should watch.

My 4 years old girls watched it and it was the first time they quit watching a cartoon before the end. It was really boring, they told me. They couldn't even tell me what the story was a about. (When I asked them about frozen 1 and 2 they couldn't stop talking). maybe that's what happens when you remove all the drama that could disturb little children : there's nothing left.
