Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This starts off like a feel good kids film with a strong environmental message along the lines of studio ghibli, but then there's random moments of sexual innuendo like the milk dream sequence (so wrong-altho i did stifle a giggle!) and those annoying girls flashing their awful grandma nickers(eurgh!). What were all the signs in Russian about? It was also full of strange characters and was a rollercoaster for the emotions, some beautiful scenes. The director and cast must have had a ball making it. Warmhearted and surprised at how well scripted and articulate the movie was. Those studying Japanese could probably figure out quite a bit of what's being said without concern of 'slang'.
