Almost pointless doco drifting in many directions on the surface of Tokyo's complexity. Mild fun watching Nobuyoshi Araki at work snapping away spontaneously, and then enduring the almost forgettable 'insights' of the people interviewed turned to banal noise. Even a city as fascinating as Tokyo cannot rescue this doco from sinking..

A Japanese GAMBLING, GODS, AND LSD that loses steam and focus way too soon. Some very interesting parts, but should be seen as more of an experimental art film than an alternative documentary/study on Japanese culture like it was intended to be.
