Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Classical music and magic add charm to usual comic mayhem. Rated: 4/5 Feb 6, 2014 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed The toys are symbolism for us, the toymaker is a symbol of god, and of course there are lines like "Of course there's a toymaker! We were all made by somebody!" May 26, 2011 Full Review Phil Hall EDGE Boston There's a dreadful sense of been-there/done-that in watching this straight-to-DVD holiday offering. Rated: 2/5 Oct 24, 2007 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures What gives this show life is its deft use of the classical music, much in the way the old Warner Bros. cartoons would do. christopher c. m But this is the strangest version of the story I've seen yet. Unlike "Nutcracker: The True Story", strange in a good way. Not what the fucking is this nightmare fuel way. It's only 47 minutes and it can drag with some of the dancing segments. But as a whole this is a good way to get your kids into classical musical in a way that won't totally bore them. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member That deserves a five-star it's about time Tom and Jerry gets a Christmas special for the family Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It's Tom & Jerry with the Nutcracker. Sounds like the prototype for all "the fairy tale" and "classic movie" entries that Tom & Jerry would eventually gain in the 2010's Except it does try to be original without being an outright shot-for-shot remake, seeing how there are no definitive Nutcracker films (and the closest one that is not only came out three years later but you'd also be hard-pressed to find anyone who likes that film owing to tons of nightmare fuel that led to the film bombing at the box office) I guess Tom & Jerry were never really feature-length material to begin with (godspeed, Chloe Grace Moretz) but hey, there's no ice-cream cart molesters around these here parts. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw this episode and it was good. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/20/15 Full Review Audience Member STAWP! I hate that stupid little french mouse! He's so annoying! I hate this movie! They've ruin Tom and Jerry and Christmas for the last time! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member You know, this ain't bad! It's heartwarming, sweet, and has Tom and Jerry in it! That's a win-win in my book! It's better than when they raced and went to Mars! Worth a watch when the synchronisers on Cartoon Network decide to air quality! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
