Kevin Carr 7M Pictures There's a sense that it's trying to tell as story and not just stretch a seven-minute cartoon premise into a short feature. Rated: 3/5 Aug 1, 2012 Full Review Joly Herman Common Sense Media Spooky story, cartoon violence; too intense for preschoolers. Rated: 3/5 Sep 14, 2010 Full Review John J. Артем Б This is my childhood. I watched this movie several times and even though I'm not a fan of Sherlock Holmes and detective stories, I like this movie. And although some say that Tom and Jerry do not fit there at all, I think that they do not really complement each other and do not interfere. If you are a fan of detective stories, even as a child, this can satisfy you, and adults can watch it, but it is unlikely that they will get some satisfaction. But for me personally, it brought pleasure even now. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/20/24 Full Review Audience Member LOL, the funniest 50 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Tom & Jerry's greatest parody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All ages, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review christopher c. m This version of Sherlock Holmes is fashioned after the Basil Rathbone 1940s version as Watson is a bit of dimwit, like in those movies. The villain is predictable like the 1940s movie. But I love the Easter eggs and cameos. The three cat henchmen will keep popping up in future Tom And Jerry flicks. Not a good or bad mark, just an observation you should look for. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Now this one I really enjoyed nice little mystery Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member While the crossovers don't always mesh well together and Tom & Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes does rush its ending, the colourful animation, fun slapstick and the sense that it is trying to tell a story make it a decent Sherlock Holmes adaptation even if it doesn't have the visual style of the Guy Ritchie films.
