Synopsis
This documentary examines a remote tribe in Borneo whose territory has become threatened by deforestation. Focusing on Bruno Manser, a Swiss expat who has renounced modern amenities and has lived with the tribe for years, the crew follows his quest to fight the loggers and save the tribe's lands. With the government's so-called "environment" officials practically giving the forests up to lumber companies, Manser's battle is symbolic of the strife that many natives are facing due to logging.
