[Director] Negret is clearly less interested in imagining a fictional romance than in conveying his vision of a land that has lost its way. Go to Full Review

That someone is kidnapped in Colombia every three hours is a startling statistic that offers many cinematic possibilities. But Towards Darkness fails to use any of them to advantage. Go to Full Review

01/10/2016 didn't really like this one but i didn't really dislike it either told mostly thru flash backs and has a really shitty ending too. See more 11/26/2013 "Antonio Negret's kidnapping thriller tackles the same subject matter as Hollywood's big-budget, star driven Proof of Life. But it's a grittier and more viscerally affecting film." Not as polished as "Transit", but still features his trademark hyperkinetic style. Offers a look into the decades old insurgency in Colombia. See more 07/27/2013 If you watched had the rebel rally closely, and recognized one of the people there in a bandana, you wouldn't have been surprised by the ending, critics. This is a very well done, tight film and well worth watching. See more 01/11/2012 I thought this movie was pretty good because the acting in it was good and the story was also really good and how they went about making it come to life. I would think that it would totally suck if i were to go back to where i lived and then got kidnapped when i was just visiting. But i thought the story was really good. See more 06/18/2010 this was not a movie for me, i didn't find this to be all that good, don't know what to say really, it might be that i found it harder since it wasn't in english and then the subtitles takes away from the movie, See more 06/03/2010 LORT! Ved sgu ikk hvad jeg ellers skal sige ... Der var MEGET få positive ting her, men den første halve time var da ok .. Derefter gik det virkelig hurtigt ned af bakke! Skod film! lol See more Read all reviews
