Audience Member Another wonderful Price performance as he slowly unravels completely while trying to kill his way to the throne of England, no matter what relative might be in his way. Great stuff, and something I was happy to finally cross off my List Of Shame. Well worth tracking down. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Price is deliciously evil as usual and hams it up, as he does best. Over the top, kind of cheesy take on Shakespeare, but it plays like a fun late night chiller. Feels more like Poe. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member This was great--having Vincent Price do Richard III in the midst of his great run for Roger Corman. Well worth seeing--mine was on my blu Vincent Price Collection, Volume III. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Starts off a little slow, but quickly starts piling on the deaths and ghosts. Combine that with Price chewing scenery and you have an entertaining film. 3 1/2 stars Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This was great--having Vincent Price do Richard III in the midst of his great run for Roger Corman. I was great just to watch Vincent Price's character slipping further into madness with each murder he commits. Great performance by Vincent Price. Jennie Kermode Eye for Film With so many difficulties, this is not the director's finest work... He manages to squeeze in a signature raven, but where his previous work with Price thundered, this film is reduced to gently rapping. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 16, 2017 Full Review Matt Brunson Creative Loafing The story is hampered by too many repetitive scenes of Richard being confronted by the ghosts of those he killed, but Price is compelling as the mad ruler (even if some of his bellows sound like Walter Matthau doing Neil Simon).
