Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Traded features nary an original element but nonetheless registers as a solid if minor oater. Jun 14, 2016 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety A retrograde horse opera in which the pacing is closer to a leisurely trot than a full gallop. Jun 13, 2016 Full Review Michael Nordine Village Voice Traded quickly becomes a "dad saves his daughter from villainous exploiters" tale, complete with saloon shootouts, decades-old vendettas, and a lack of any real agency for the missing girl herself. Jun 8, 2016 Full Review Amanda Gilroy PopMatters It turns out to have all the compensatory pleasures of an old-fashioned Western and it won me over. Robert C at the 1:25:40 mark, during the big gunfight with the shooter on the roof, our hero hides behind square bales of straw in front of some livery business. The straw bales would not only provide no protection from bullets, they are minimum 75yrs off . "What are these?" is what any hero of the day would have said. "These are great. So handy. Ouch. They don't stop bullets though..." All the same, I give this a 3 / 5 for ole Kris Kris and the wolf story, and i like Tom Sizemore too. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/29/22 Full Review Audience Member The script is very dynamic and flows correctly in a perfectly recreated environment with all the ingredients of the classic westerns but with a much more current cinematographic approach. Quality entertainment that will not disappoint those who like this type of cinema Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Shaky acting, however slow this movie is its still a. Western. I understand the low rating, but not all movies are blockbusters. Thanks to Tubi for a large selection of free choices . . Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Just a good old fashioned western with a real people and real pioneer feel. I’d like to see more of these as hopefully Hollywood is realizing every movie don’t need to be a blockbuster. There are plenty western stories like this that need to be told and retold. It was fun to watch and the acting was very good - had an authentic feel. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/03/18 Full Review Audience Member Worst movie I've seen in about 15 years, and I watch lots of movies. Frequent use of nasty language for a woman's private got old and the f-word and sex scenes make this western pretty offensive for a "not rated" movie. It's the only reason I'm reviewing it actually, to warn others. Horribly low budget. It's the movie taken re-made into garbage. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie had good potential, but the poor acting and cheesy lines really ruined it for me.
