Shock Therapy R Contrived, Pedantic Condescension on Mental Health, Drugs Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2022 This movie is disingenuous at every turn. The producer dropped narrative bombs on the protagonist's disposition with meaningless and irrelevant characters. Emotions were contrived and inconsistent. The plot was completely implausible and incredulous. As a commentary on mental health and drug (ab)use, this was as disastrous as the film. But the biggest problem was the pedantic and condescending instructions that we "learned" from a character that should have gone to jail. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/03/22 Full Review Read all reviews
