Remember when your parents would say, "I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed." Yeah, pretty much what I'd say to Michael Bay's face... Repeatedly. This movie was terrible. Between racially stereotyped "black guy" transformers and a massive transformer with wrecking ball testicles, that is only the tip of the iceberg. Apparently the departure of Alex Kurtzman from the writing team was a downfall on this one. Character interaction was terrible, plot wasn't great. Only thing that this film had going for it was the always great special effects and sound editing.

The Transformers would've been dead meat right here, but luckily, they survived a movie that's worth millions of dollars to waste.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a god-awful piece of sh** that's offensive in every way. The plot is extraordinarily stupid and incoherent. And, the acting is appallingly bad on all fronts; Meg Fox is the only one who manages to retain some semblance of dignity. The special effects are impressive, but they're not enough to make up for the atrociousness of the rest of the film. Unintelligible and pointless, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is definitely not "more than meets the eye."

I once saw a documentary on Transformers and someone being interviewed commented that "Michael Bay shoots more set-ups in a day than anyone else I know." This would explain why the film seems so rushed and underthought.
