Kyle M This film is unwatchable. Did a blind buy and woof. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Roeland R An easy film for critics and movie watchers to dismiss as too ordinary. The film is a sketch of how society treats its veterans in combination with a family drama and action. A solid, sad soundtrack, great acting performances and realistic storyline great a compelling sit through. If you like this movie it's because you have patience and appreciation for movies that tell a story. Not a lot of pops and bangs, but enough existential questions to compensate. A movie to watch alone with a good whiskey. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/03/24 Full Review Mary L I enjoyed the movie and am surprised of the rank it got. It is kind of slow paced but I felt that was to give the feel of what the characters.were going through. Moments it was loose but I would recommend this movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/17/23 Full Review Freya I mean; it's an Australian soap opera with dudes. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/16/23 Full Review 09btyh Slow to start , however it becomes an emotional rollercoaster . And as a veteran it elicited powerful and a dark empathy. This movie Tiks all the boxes although for action fans it would be found lacking . Instead the lions share of the violent action occurs within the characters. This is a great story , and fine actors tastefully revealing the realities of war and the toll it can take on the innocent. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/07/23 Full Review Stephen B There is action in this movie but it is hardly an action movie...the themes of displaced soldiers with PTSD and a father-son relationship impacted by that are the center of the movie. Worthington is great and the actor who plays the teenage son really portrays the struggle amazingly well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) What I like about this movie is the nature of Sam Worthington's character... It's a fresh take. Mar 15, 2023 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times “Transfusion” is 25% slam-bang genre film and 75% melancholy character sketch — a balance tilted too far to the latter. Mar 3, 2023 Full Review Luke Buckmaster Guardian The film is supposed to be dramatically engaging rather than pleasurable – but it’s only occasionally the former. Rated: 2/5 Jan 19, 2023 Full Review Christian Valentin Spectrum Culture Familiar yet compelling, it works far more effectively as a somber character drama than as a crime film, and is better for it. Mar 7, 2023 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Lacking the dramatic heft to supplement its more thoughtful ambitions, this Australian thriller offers a formulaic exploration of familiar themes. Mar 4, 2023 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Despite decent acting the film is still only lackluster. Rated: C+ Mar 3, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
