Victor O A moment of inspiration has led me to look into Sarah Carter’s filmography, and this movie caught my attention. The farther I go back in time the more difficult it is to find some movies, and this was tricky. A TV movie that looked interesting, back then, Cable TV used to make an event out of movies and with a cast that included Meat Loaf, it was set to be an event. A Las Vegas hotel is ready to be launched, unfortunately, the event has caused a serial arsonist to strike as several people set in the hotel are trapped as everyone from a vacationing couple, several employees, groupies for fight night. Men, women, and children are trapped; many die as these people fight their way for air and escape. Not bad at all, but I have to admit, while this was cool to watch, I did not enjoy one of my favorite actresses dying – who is sadly becoming the female version of Michael Biehn or Sean Bean. Plenty of other good cast members here but no decent cast can escape a terrible story. Which this was, despite all the thrills, the worst thing about it is the villain of the story and I won’t spoil it. Not a bad night, but I can see why this was hard to find, it’s tragically forgettable.
