Anupama Chopra Film Companion Trapped is a tight-wire act, which would collapse without the masterful Rajkummar Rao. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 6, 2018 Full Review Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Given Motwane's skills at creating emotions, and Rao's ability to channel them, Trapped doesn't take us as far over the edge it could, or should have. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 23, 2018 Full Review Namrata Joshi The Hindu Trapped makes us look afresh at all the banal things we take for granted. Jul 23, 2018 Full Review Panos Kotzathanasis Asian Movie Pulse "Trapped" has its faults, but Rajkummar Rao's splendid performance and the film's social comment deem the movie a more than worthy spectacle. Dec 25, 2019 Full Review Rahul Desai Film Companion While Tom Hanks' post-traumatic avatar assumed a more existential, universal pokerfaced-ness in Cast Away, Rao's is, in context of his regional relevance, a deeply personal one. Rated: 4/5 Feb 5, 2019 Full Review Anna M.M. Vetticad Firstpost This promising premise combined with the formidable talents of Vikramaditya Motwane and Rajkummar Rao should have added up to much more. yash b "Trapped" deserves some points for being completely different from most Bollywood movies. It really has the feel of an independent movie you might catch at a film festival. This is a good survival movie that made me uneasy at many moments. The movie is pretty hard to watch at times but it is definitely an impressive feat of acting from Rajkummar Rao. This type of movie can get repetitive fast, but his performance and the constant challenges his character faces keep things interesting. Overall, it is an interesting movie that is not typical Bollywood at all, but that works as the movie's greatest strength. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved this was hooked all the way through!! Thought the ending could of been a bit more sinister but still a great watch!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the finest movie i ever watched in my life... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Bakwas minus 5 star movie.. wasted my time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The main character made me feel for him. Day after day of constantly trying to get someone to notice him. I did think of a few other options he could have used to escape. The first and last quarter of the movie were the better parts, but you couldn't help but sympathize throughout. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was horrible.. great intro/setup, but 40 minutes of agonizing repeat of screaming, bashing door, going nowhere... dumb Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
