Legendary monster-killer Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) has returned to Perfection, Nev., scene of the original attacks by the worm creatures with razor teeth known as graboids. Sure enough, the creatures attack again, only now they're split into graboids, shriekers and a new mutation known as ass-blasters, which are propelled into flight by combustible flatulence. It's up to Burt, Jack Sawyer (Matthew Seth Wilson) and other locals to save their town from destruction.

Tremors 3 is somewhat entertaining, but only in a I-really-want-like-this-movie-because-it's-Tremors-for-pete's-sake kind of way. Go to Full Review

While Tremors 3 certainly isn't about to win any awards for originality, fans of the series should find enough to keep them entertained. Go to Full Review

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 4 Tremors 3: Back to Perfection marks the moment the franchise truly collapses, delivering a messy, directionless sequel that never finds its footing. Even with Michael Gross returning as Burt, the film feels like a complete misfire, rushing characters back on screen without giving them room to breathe or develop. The screenplay lacks inspiration, offering a patchwork of ideas thrown together rather than a story crafted with care or momentum. Removing Reba McEntire and Kevin Bacon left an enormous gap the film tries—and fails—to fill, mistakenly assuming Burt alone could carry the weight of the series. Despite a few attempts at humor and nostalgia, the movie never rises above its cheap execution. Instead, it feels like a franchise on life support, held together with weak writing and tired creature gimmicks. Tremors 3 isn’t just disappointing—it’s easily the least essential entry and not worth revisiting. Some more character development would have been nice but let’s be real, that’s not why people watch and love these movies! See more 07/25/2024 Just a boring movie and the cgi is bad See more Thom G 03/26/2024 For a third installment, it's surprisingly solid! It effectively builds upon the foundation laid by the previous two films without leaning too heavily on recycled tropes. One notable improvement is the reduction in the repetition of jokes that may have felt stale in the previous film, while still delivering plenty of humor and maintaining the enjoyable performances from each character. Additionally, there's some unexpected character development, which isn't typically a focal point in Tremors films (aside from the Graboids, of course). Overall, fans are sure to be pleased.
