Edmund T 01/30/2024 It's one of those movies that you cannot rush, but let the story unfurl at its own pace, right to the heartbreaking and moving conclusion. Along the way, appreciate the acting chops of all concerned, notably Colin Farrell and Christopher Lee. It's the performances here that are really heartbreaking though, from Farrell and especially from Christopher Lee, who picks the movie right up as soon as he shows up. The characters are complicated, their lives intertwined, the backstory and history between all of them hinted at subtly bit by bit, until by the end the viewer understands the reasons Walsh is crippled.
