This is such a funny film, while still retaining just enough of a scare factor to keep the tension level high enough. It's also very well-acted. The only slight let-down was the ending, where it seemed like not all of the loose ends were intentional.

One of my favorite found footage movies ever. Has a lot of fun with the concept and takes itself the exact right amount of serious. Great visuals, great acting, fun plot and characters, and certainly my favorite depiction of "realistic trolls". Great movie, highly recommended.

I could only get through just less than half. This is one of the many cases where a foreign film gets amazing ratings- but just isn't good compared to American Standards. (think what you will of that sentiment) It's slow, choppy, uses the first person camera- which has been done so many times now as to have killed it from being able to be used again, and the way the characters react and interact is forced and nonsensical. I WILL say, if you have a very young child= this might actually be a good movie as a form of escapism for them, but it's not going to appeal to very many adults.

It's unwatchable, it's so bad I decided to leave a comment. There's literally nothing good in this movie except for the setting. The plot is ridiculous, CGI is like in the 90s. On top of all of that it's in norwegian, so you either accept no lip sync or choose subtitles and listen to gibberish. Don't make the mistake I did and just skip it
