With her marriage breaking up, Beverly Hills housewife Phyllis Nefler (Shelley Long) boosts her self-esteem by leading a local troop of Wilderness Girls. Although Phyllis' version of roughing it is spending the night at the Beverly Hills Hotel, that suits her privileged troop members just fine. Having seen this movie several times, I have enjoyed it a great deal with each viewing. It is not only cute and quite amusing, it really shows off Shelley Long's comedic skills. She was terrific on "Cheers" and she is equally good here. The low score from the critics truly surprises me; Don't cheat yourself out of some really good laughs. This is a heartwarming and delightful comedy.
