Synopsis
Director Robert Mugge explores the rich musical history of Rounder Records. Since 1970, the label has been instrumental in bringing American folk music to listeners. Rounder began as a modest enterprise launched by three friends, but the company quickly grew into an internationally recognized institution that has helped keep zydeco and bluegrass music alive. Among the company's musical roster are Alison Krauss, Bill Morrissey and Marcia Ball -- all of whom perform in this documentary.
