Trunk: Locked In is a claustrophobic watch by necessity; I’d be disappointed if it weren’t. Thankfully, director Marc Schießer manages to move his camera in wild, interesting ways despite the confined setting, constantly finding new, intriguing angles.

The movie is not bad. Some parts are suspenseful. The problem is they telegraph the twist by using one we've seen in many similar movie plots already. And everything in Act III following the twist is either trite or unbelievable or both.
