Audience Member Mumblecore before mumblecore. A drift of events as our protagonists move back and forth toward and away from each other with the guy stereotypically resistant to commitment. The ending which resolves a seemingly unconnected subplot ties into the theme of destructive and one sided relationships. Part of the "Martin Scorsese Presents: Masterpieces of Polish Cinema" retrospective traveling the country, this color movie in "2K restoration" survives the low resolution digital format better then the black and white entries in the series have.
