Synopsis
After Tom Benton (Don "Red" Barry) sees a rancher (David Durand) shoot a man in self-defense, he protects the rancher when political boss Dirk Saunders (George Douglas) tries to railroad him for murder. Angered, Saunders sends his hired gun, Montana Smith (Noah Beery), to get Benton to relent. The aging Smith was once Benton's mentor and tutored him to become the outlaw "The Tulsa Kid" before Benton became a peaceful rancher. But now master and pupil are on a deadly collision course.
