Sean J The movie is filmed like an after school special. The dialog sounds like they read off of cue cards. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/11/24 Full Review Spencer H "Turquoise Rose" is a must-see and truly a hidden gem of a film. As an early 2000s coming-of-age story set in the stunning landscapes of America's Southwest, it captured my attention from the very beginning. What makes this film truly special is the fresh perspective brought by the first-time director and the many first-time actors. They create an authentic and immersive cinematic experience that beautifully explores themes of self-discovery, loss, family expectations, and culture that resonated deeply with me From the beauty of the Southwest to the journey of personal growth found in this film, every frame of "Turquoise Rose" is a work of art. It's a film that stays with you long after you've watched it, reminding you of the power of storytelling and the beauty of human connection. Whether you're a fan of coming-of-age tales or simply appreciate a well-crafted film that speaks to the soul, "Turquoise Rose" is a must-watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Audience Member A little independent film about human spirit that actually tends to lack in spirit Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie. The story was touching and diverse. One of the few native movies that I enjoyed and this was simple yet endearing. I loved the grandmother in this movie. Enjoyable for the family. :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member this is a good movie and sad bt then funy. lol.
