Chan is as charming as ever, but his talents are squandered by special effects and bad writing. Read critic reviews

Not a great film. The storyline is over the top and feels like a leftover Bond script from the 70s. Chan is a likable, as normal, but the film setup is flat. This could have been much better had they trimmed some of the forced humour and added character moments. The cast is having fun, but they struggle with the filmmakers style over substance and poorly executed story beats. The Tuxedo may appeal to the younger crowd who enjoy slapstick and quick humour, but the rest of us will be checking our phones. What was the deal with the opening shot of the deer urinating in the creek? Who in their right mind would choose this as the opening shot. I'm amazed the producers were happy with this. 17/09/2019

Why? Why would Jennifer and Jackie agree to star in this film is still a mystery to me. The plot was stupid and predictable, the comedy was forceful. It was fun at times, but silly overall.

Oh wow, why? Why?! I don't even know if this warrants a review. It's like Spy Kids 2 meets Jackie Chan meets... severe overproduction. Who, in their right mind, thought this would be a good idea when it was pitched? Seriously.
