It’s undeniable that there’s a very good movie somewhere inside the concept for Twisted. There just has to be. Not only the synopsis must sound good. The idea is there. Unfortunately dormant and kept in a secondary plane.

The movie kept you guessing til the end and even wondering if the old adage "like mother, like daughter" or can a family cycle be broken. I watched with a group where all were totally engaged and yelling advice to the screen - "don't eat the cookie!" You are left wondering what's next for Hannah.

The movie is gripping. The soundtrack is beautiful and ties so well into the feelings we experience. Performances, particularly from mother/daughter, we're so believable and subtle and unnerving. The sets and locations really pulled us into the rural town we found ourselves. Watched it for yourself and see!
