Synopsis
Kind-hearted Nunzio (Francesco Sframeli) works long hours in a paint factory in Sicily. He shares an apartment with the stoic Pino (Spiro Scimone), who often goes away on business. Nunzio grows fascinated by Pino, whose frequent trips are actually a cover for his real job as a hired hit man. Nunzio falls in love with their neighbor (Teresa Saponangelo) despite her already having a boyfriend (Valerio Binasco). When Nunzio falls ill, Pino makes a risky decision that endangers them both.
