      Critics Consensus

Two Night Stand proves even a pair of well-matched leads isn't enough to take a rom-com all the way from interesting idea to watchable feature.

Sidney S Disclaimer: It's a bit "dirty" (I usually don't prefer/recommend films like that). However, this is SUCH a cute movie! The two main characters are very quirky. It's super fun to watch their chemistry as it develops. Essentially, they both get trapped in the same apartment due to a snow storm. They had a one night stand the night before the snow storm started. And in between their initial encounter and the end of the snow storm, they fall in love (of course lol). But there are definitely a few bumps in that fall. I hope you enjoy! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review Light L Nice to see fresh & diverse perspectives on life choices represented on film -yes some peoples hearts desire is to be a happy homemaker it's nice to see it celebrated Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review Julie W Personally, I love this movie! I love Miles Teller, and the other gal was really great. A great, romantic comedy, a feel good kind of movie💞 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/10/23 Full Review peter S Fun, light, good acting. You cannot go wrong with watching this feel good movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/06/23 Full Review Eric R A surprisingly decent movie full of B-list actors, (Well, one B-List lead and a whole bunch of lower level talent). The main girl was like the love child of Emma Stone mixed with Hillary Duff, in all the best ways. Surprising amount of awkward chemistry, and even some funny laughs. Not quite a masterpiece, but definitely a hidden gem. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/21/23 Full Review Marc K Funny but unrealistic. If these are the adults in our future, were doomed Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Geoffrey Macnab Independent (UK) This attempt as a latter-day screwball romance, released in time for Valentine's Day, is charming in parts but also contrived. Rated: 3/5 Feb 17, 2015 Full Review David Parkinson Empire Magazine Charming performances from both leads and insightful vignettes makes up for occasional clumsy writing and plot developments. Rated: 3/5 Feb 12, 2015 Full Review Mike McCahill Guardian Two Night Stand is a notch below popping to Nando's on the list of things to do with a significant other this Valentine's. Rated: 2/5 Feb 12, 2015 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens Exuberant and engaging, filled with youthful fun and genuine moments of wide-eyed enchantment, Two Night Stand captures the heart with humor and sweet romance. Dec 14, 2019 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Regardless of what side of the line you're on, its nifty frankness aside, there isn't much to recall when all the bland assimilations of cute preciousness fade into the ether. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 5, 2019 Full Review Stephen O'Nion One Room With A View Director Max Nichols serves up a few laughs but otherwise allows Two Night Stand to inch towards its status as predictable, bland Valentine's fare you might select having exhausted Netflix's other "Quirky Romance" options.
