Jim P Yet another good old Brit flick, with plenty of subtle British 🇬🇧 jokes! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/30/24 Full Review Michael W Very funny movie. Just watched it today on Film4 for the first time in years. The film has stood the test of time a typical British comedy of the 50/60's. The great Lionel Jefferies, absolutely brilliant throughout, probably stole the show. Peter Sellers was at his usual brilliant best. I think with this and I'm Alright Jack he was possibly at his peak. I won't forget to mention a fantastic supporting cast. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/24 Full Review Audience Member Early Peter Sellers movie. Like Hogan's Heros in prison. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member A quintessentially mid-20th century British comedy that would certainly interest fans of Peter Sellers, although he pretty much plays the straight man on the team in what is a crime caper. The comedy is quite light but it simmers along nicely and a good cast keeps the interest. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Good British 60's comedy with a top drawer cast. Sellers is good but Hyde White is the star of the show as a bunch of con men plan a jewel heist whilst on the inside and try to get back before anyone notices. Lionel Jeffries as the Prison Guard also puts in a memorable performance Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A hilarious prison and caper comedy--Unmissable Madcap British Comedy!!
