Compared to much of the filmmaker's recent output, such as the Cannes-selected Isabelle Huppert vehicle In Another Country, this is a pretty minor entry; the digitally shot cinematic equivalent of a fluidly drawn, customary doodle.

Compared to previous Hong women, like Haewon, Sunhi (Jung Yu-mi) is surly and defensive. The men aren't much better, though Sunhi seems more capable of growth.

Sunhi (Jung Yu-mi) might just be Hong's greatest protagonist, an unwitting muse that seems more bewildered than flattered by the fixation of her suitors, who refuses to be a supporting character in some man's story.
