Audience Member Why on earth did I put this on my DVD list? Well, why the heck not? Hotdog (RIP) said it was worth a watch so I thought I'd give it a go and perhaps open my mind to something new. So I did, and my horizons were broadened. Those dudes get up to some crazy stuff. And Pink!'s husband is in it. Flinging my little Ford Ka round like I'm in The Italian Job suddenly pales into insignificance by comparison. Phil Kloer Atlanta Journal-Constitution There is a breathtaking grace when these young men (and one female) ride a skateboard high into the air and flip the board and their bodies through an impossible series of contortions. Rated: B Sep 12, 2023 Full Review Scott Foundas Variety For all his visual flair, Hendricks never goes deeper inside X Games culture. The film is too insular and self-contained, as though those who are not already members of the party are not invited to attend. Sep 12, 2023 Full Review Derek Adams Time Out [A] spectacular extreme sports extravaganza. Jun 24, 2006 Full Review Dennis King Tulsa World It's a high-sheen circus of color, crashes, acrobatics and testosterone that's perfect for the large-format IMAX screen. Rated: 3/4 Sep 12, 2023 Full Review Tony Lewis Buffalo News A 42-minute promotional film masquerading as a documentary. Sep 12, 2023 Full Review Bill Chambers Film Freak Central Ultimate X is a commercial for the X-Games that undersells its own product by cutting to commentary from personnel in which they overstress that "we ain't seen nothin' yet." You start to wonder, If that's the case, why do you keep making me [watch]? Rated: 2/4 Sep 12, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
