01/12/2010 It's quirky - it has a peculiar flow full of small, mundane movements that take the viewers with the ebb and flow of Celimene (or, Natalie). The Berlinale's ('09) choice didn't impress reviewers in English-speaking media much (e.g. THR said it's 'unfunny'). Still I find the quotes from Baudelaire, Rousseau and others a quietly ingenious touch on absurdity of life, both a contrast and a laugh, no mater how strangely when them came about as the story moved along :) See more 09/01/2009 Disappointing and dull. At some point the only thing that might interest the viewer is the wild movements of her left eyebrow. See more 08/30/2009 i felt like this movie would never end... See more 08/29/2009 Hilarious at times but it's impossible to understand what's going on. The maincharacter is so complex and out of the ordinary that it's really hard to see why she's acting like that. The story is about a block in writing proses but it feels like who ever wrote this must have had a major block. See more 08/01/2009 Yaaaaaaaaawn. That is all. See more 06/22/2009 An odd film, with a very lengthy lull in the middle. The concept is never really fully explained and whilst I particularly enjoyed the ending, I thought it should have finished at the more obvious plot point being resolved. See more Read all reviews
