Belle surprise. Review in english: To pretty much sum up my previous review in french. The movie make himself different from most Québec movies by a good story filled with emotions and good moments of friendship, childhood and father-son relationship. Also, great directing and acting make the difference although the movie is flawed and have a "too beautiful so it isn't" end. It was a nice surprise. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Un été sans point ni coup sur a coming of age story and a father/son story told against the backdrop of the Expos first season in 1969. Unlike other movies about that era, it doesn't go overboard in clichés. Like other good baseball movies (Field of Dreams, Bull Durham), its about more than just baseball. I really enjoyed it. Watch it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
