John T This film does an amazing job showing a man who literally cannot give of himself emotionally. Daniel Autueil is fantastic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/28/21 Full Review Audience Member Everything simmering under the surface is always done best by the French and Un Coeur En Hiver is no different; Beart is mesmerizing and worthy of all the turmoil Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review andrey k Very intelligent and psychologically challenging movie as French movies often are. Daniel Auteuil as a genius in his profession who seemingly possesses no emotions is a mesmerizing experience to behold (I didn't recognize him in 'Jean De Florette' so versatile an actor he is). Emmanuelle Beart is another beautiful talent watching which is a delight, she's so different in each of her movies, it makes you wonder how easy she commands her flawless appearance and doesn't let it stay in the way of her performance. The film delicately deals with the subject of human romantic emotions and questions whether people are in control of them or they don't command them and can't actually "decide" how to control their flow. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Kind of frustrating. Like a not as good version of Eric Rohmer. But not bad. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A beautiful film that only comes once in a lifetime. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
