There are lengthy scenes here of Antoine and Anna prattling on about everything from reincarnation to parenthood and while their conversations sound natural and likely are half-improvised, what they are saying is never particularly interesting. Subtle, nuanced , a beautiful evocation of the complexity of relationship, and India was one of the most beautiful characters in the film See more 08/20/2017 One of the loveliest of the film-within-a-film genre I've seen. There were layers on layers as with real life, and I felt that with each turn I was going deeper.
