I respect directors who stubbornly follow their own path, even if the result is a Claude Lelouch film. And so, while Un + une is a hard movie to take seriously, occasionally you want to give it a little pat on the head. Go to Full Review

There are lengthy scenes here of Antoine and Anna prattling on about everything from reincarnation to parenthood and while their conversations sound natural and likely are half-improvised, what they are saying is never particularly interesting. Go to Full Review

Subtle, nuanced , a beautiful evocation of the complexity of relationship, and India was one of the most beautiful characters in the film See more 08/20/2017 One of the loveliest of the film-within-a-film genre I've seen. There were layers on layers as with real life, and I felt that with each turn I was going deeper. Of course, at the very end (you MUST watch all the way thru the credits) I felt as disoriented and delighted as I imagine westerners who visit India for the first time must. See more Read all reviews
