In the late 1950s, British police officer Tony Aaron (Liam Neeson) resigns from the force after sleeping with Hazel (Maggie O'Neill), wife of the man whose house he was supposed to guard. In his new job as a fake private investigator, he helps couples get divorces by photographing Hazel having "affairs" with the husband. When she is murdered during a job, Tony begins having an affair with the dead man's mistress, Angeline (Laura San Giacomo), while trying to prove his innocence.

It's 2023 and I've only just seen this film, It was excellent. The film had many twists and turns which kept you on the edge of your seat. I can't believe other reviewers gave it such a low score - felt I had to provide some balance.

Where has San Giacomo ran off to? She's a fine actress. 'Under Suspicion' is a very UK type of film. Made with a low budget of only about 6 million, the writer/director and company have collaborated to make a very competent end result. The film is twisty albeit a bit predictable.
