Audience Member Long, dreadfully boring, and laughably bad. The characters are not interesting, the overall plot is silly, and the costumes are hilarious looking. While it may seem funny though, it's a long bland watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A Flash Gordon rip off, only, surprisingly worse. Complete nonsense, starting with a rocket powered submarine. We are brought into an undersea world that is bone dry. The people that live in this kingdom are technologically advanced enought to be able to cause earthquakes, build robots and rayguns, but when they go to war they still throw spears aand wave sowrds at eachother. Our female lead does absolutely nothing and our hero, Crash Corrigan, takes a twelve year old boy out on all his dangerous missions. "You two escape. Billy and I will draw their fire." The story is flat, the world is poorly thought out and the characters are lifeless. Do not watch alone and besure to bring popcorn. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A re-tread Republic serial akin capitalizing on Flash Gordon serials it uses some stock footage from Gene Autry's Phantom Empire, and a carbon copy Ming The Merciless bad guy, but it makes up in the story telling. While not ground breaking the serial is a fun series and well plotted out fantasy adventure. I have young kids and they totally became engrossed in the story. Afterwards they began making thier own lego submarines. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member One of those brilliant serial adventures they used to show on the BBC during the Summer holidays in the 80's. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member OMG What an absolute classic. I could watch these again and again.... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member While the effects are pretty good (for the time) and the storylines generally okay (although there are a lot of plotholes and illogical discrepancies as well), Crash Corrigan is simply a boring hero. He is your run of the mill goody two shoes who excels at all athletic activities saving women and children and what not. Compared to the (anti-)hero of modern sci-fi, Crash Corrigan is uninteresting and lacking of any character altogether. Ignoring that, the show is highly enjoyable and very entertaining. Oh, and make sure you get the disc with the bonus episode from Tales of Tomorrow starring Leslie Nielsen. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
