Audience Member Throughout this documentary we hear high-and-mighty cast and crew members bash the horror genre and claim they were doing something deeper and better than some mere horror movie. Sorry cast and crew but Pet Sematary IS A HORROR MOVIE. You made a horror movie. And a very good one too! So stop acting so arrogant. Horror is an amazing genre. It's home to Dracula and Frankenstein and other classics. You need not apologize for making a horror movie or pretend you DIDN'T make one. You did! Just own it! Geez. I finally had to turn the damn documentary off.As a fan of this genre, it was grating to hear them keep attacking it. But I finally went back and finished it (with gritted teeth). It's okay. But screw the interviewees and the anti-horror B.S. they spewed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review kevin c Documentary chronicling the making of the Stephen King horror adaptation Pet Sematary. From the real Pet sematary that inspired King to write the book along with incidents in his own life, to the film version finally getting greenlit. Featuring many interviews with cast and crew along with fans from the horror community. This is a pretty well rounded documentary. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Solid, engaging documentary about the making and legacy of Pet Sematery. It drags a bit, and I wish this was just included in the special features of the movie. They were able to get an impressive amount of the key players! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/22 Full Review Audience Member Interesante documental sobre la creación de una de sus mejores adaptaciones, de una de sus mejores novelas. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Very mediocre and excessive - an overlong DVD extra with a monotonous, repetitive soundtrack.
