Audience Member 1st story was creepy, 2nd story was disturbing and the 3rd story was boring. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member It tried to be scary, it failed a bit, but when it tried to be funny, it sure made me laugh. It's original compared to other Japanese horror flicks and fused with a large dose of dark humor then you'll get an interesting, intriguing and funny horror flick. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty Creepy and Twisted Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Anthology of Japanese short film of horror. 1) Katakata(****): The monster was very similar to Samara, from the ring, and the one from the grudge, for the noise, This is like coming back to the classic, the monster has long black hair, pale face and surely knows how give a scare or two. 2) Hagane (**** 1/2): Two words for this short: Magnificent and awkward. Have fun and a little of disturbing thing, The fact that they don't show the monster is the right guess because you can only think in what was the that, by the way great performances. 3) Uketsugu mono (*** 1/2): The most predictable and less interesting that the three,it's the more traditional, in a manner to speak, the best is that the history is from the point of view of the kid. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is divided into 3 seperate short stories with the standout story being Rattle Rattle. The tale is about a young woman about to be married who's chased around her apartment block by a menacing ghost woman in red who has a large kitchen knife in her hand. It is just scary and unrelenting terror all the way. The ghost woman is terrifying and plain insane. The story might only last 30 mins but it does the trick in scaring the crap out of you. The other 2 tales Hagane and The Inheritance are OK but don't even come close to Rattle Rattle in scares. A great watch.
