Audience Member nice pace and interesting plot. ending was a bit too convenient. i like the style in which the story is presented. great performance from the cast. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member While it does take risks, and is something that no other Singaporean movie has been before, I can't help but be slightly underwhelmed. I really wanted to love it, but ended up just sort of liking it. The cast is great, but a big part of my issues with it is due to structure, where a framing device ends up rather extraneous and saps the dramatic tension out of a lot of scenes. Ironically, the drama and pace slow down once the hostage situation occurs, whereas the buildup was fleet and well-executed. The whole thing also feels like it wants to be a little too clever than it actually is - and the meta-ness doesn't help. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member very entertaining, very slick. another fine local feature. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
