David W There are some quality actors (and some less so) amongst the cast but they've all given better performances, in better movies. The whole thing just seems largely lifeless and lacking in either horror or suspense. The creature effects when it eventually arrives are pretty poor which doesn't help matters. There are some nice shots of the Alaskan wilderness but not much else to recommend it sadly. It may just about pass the grade if you've nothing else to watch but don't expect much. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/10/23 Full Review Connie K Jesse be sleeping circa 2016, degrading beloved B grade horror and typing waaaaay too many words about a monster movie with "nothing going on". First is the incredible poor man's cast. We have both an Anthony Hopkins and Chad Baldwin @The Edge and some great young Indigenous and/or babe talent. Quincy is phenomenal. Sure, the monster looks like a Samoyed with roid rage but the underlying message is one of peace and unity with nature, gmo polar bear plus eat the rich. I do wish they accessed fire sooner and Dr. Hannah caught more bear traps tho. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Fergus Stapleton. Would watch nearly anything where people are being bumped off one by one in an isolated setting but this is quite poor. Felt like a 70's/80's tv horror film as enhanced polar bear goes on the rampage at an isolated holiday lodge. Script/acting genarally poor, creature effects average, story routine and poor ending. Great setting with good winter landscapes earn an extra star only wish they could have been better used. A short late night time filler at best. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member i have seen student films 10x better than this garbage. Feel bad for James Remar having to make a buck this way. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't even waste your time. So stupid...... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Marcus E Hey, they tried. There was potential with what the corporation was doing, but it fell flat. Terrible or non-existent CGI basically meant they traded the 'creature' just up until the end. There were a few funny lines but this movie just didn't seem to have the budget to really compete & tell a captivating story.
