Emilie Black Cinema Crazed It's a strong documentary that is a heavy, hard watch but worth it to see how this could happen in a big city, anywhere really. Rated: 4/5 Apr 17, 2020 Full Review Thrillist Entertainment Staff Thrillist This true-crime documentary offers a harrowing look at what fate unfortunately often has in store for marginalized women, and why society turns a blind eye to their wellbeing. Nov 28, 2018 Full Review Molly Laich Missoula Independent Through candid interviews and images of the impoverished Mount Pleasant community, Unseen acts as a haunting indictment of a police force that failed its citizens. Pauline W Such a heartbreaking documentary... With that house's proximity to other houses and shops people should have been alerted by the smell that something was not okay but no one cared because those affected were dealing with addiction issues and normally people don't see any value in them. I was particularly appalled by the interview of Assad Tayeh Owner Imperial Beverage.....from minute 24.54 to 25.32... what he said about the victims shocked me. These were human lives but no one really paid attention or cared 😭😭 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/03/24 Full Review Eric L Really needed to hire a narrator. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/10/24 Full Review Cody L This is one of the best documentaries I've ever seen. I saw it a couple years ago and I still think about this story and the victims frequently. Great storytelling, excellent interviews, and an unexpectedly heroic ending that you can't forget. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The ugly nasty side of a significant part of the American population. Excellently produced. Interviews with women that are heartbreaking and enraging. Is this the best we can do? Madness on a colossal scale, nobody paying any attention. Excellent no holds barred doc. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review adam b About as depressing as a true crime documentary can get. Quite the story; many red flags about this man were thrown to the police but apparently if the victim is a known crack addict, they don't care. Recommended Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing. It succeeds because of its brutal honesty. The interviews really connect. I highly recommend this film.
