I don't know what to call it, but Andrea (Jemima Kirke) plays the evolved manic pixie dream girl. What happens when the MPDG grows up, decides to get clean and becomes more than one dimensional while still getting it wrong over and over- because that's being human? Bonus points for great soundtrack, subtle, hot-sex & Billy Crystal.

Technically done well with beautiful actors but I personally didn't get what was the point being made. It was like a collage that you put together to try to get a vague meaning. Perhaps I am old fashioned but I do best with a movie that has a story line I can find, and I didn't easily enough find a story from this movie. I guess I need things to be more obvious and redundant. It could be this movie is innovative and ahead of my time. There were a lot of daring new situations and dialogue between the characters that were the opposite of cliched that were portrayed. I was put off though by the full frontal nudity of one the female protagonists. I guess this is a new trend in movies, and perhaps a good thing to be actual. A moment of the movie that gave me a good laugh was Martin (Ben Mendelsohn's) awkward politeness on the subject of the holocaust. The nonjudgmental way he delivered those lines, with open naivete and good natured intentions was astounding.

Couldn't even get through it. Characters were all extremely unlikable and not enough character building to help understand how they became these f-ed up broken people... I was so just so annoyed by everyone and their bad interactions with each other, I couldn't care what happened to them. Billy Crystal and Jennifer Grey were nice surprises I suppose. Sad they were wasted in this stupid movie.
