Audience Member I wasn't too much into this movie from the beginning so I really wasn't expecting to like it at all. After awhile I started to get into it & eventually it begun to grow on me & Uphill All The Way turned out to be a pretty decent movie.Roy Clark & Mel Tillis made a great combination & were like a Laurel & Hardy type.My favorite thing about the movie was that after every situation they got themselves in, more people were added to the posse chasing them.I thought that was pretty funny.I know not everybody will be into it but if you're into Westerns or were a fan of the show Hee Haw then you just might enjoy Uphill All The Way.In my opinion, it's worth taking a look at.Maybe the movie will grow on you like it grew on me Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazingly, this is not as bad as you think it will be. I was expecting "nails on a chalkboard", but it's really just pretty dull. After about 20 minutes of setup, it becomes one long chase. What I found most interesting is that it seems to be set in roughly the same time and place as "The Wild Bunch" ... I had visions of Roy Clark running into William Holden and everything becoming interesting. No chance. Burt Reynolds has an unbilled cameo. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Country music stars headline this lighthearted film about two small time con artists trying to beat a posse to the Mexico border after being mistaken for bank robbers. Even in 1986, this type of comedy and the stars were fading into a bygone era but fairly likable lead characters and a good cameo from Burt Reynolds add value. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Country stars Mel Tillis and Roy Clark play bungling con men who attract a posse of pursuers with their ongoing (and often unintended) shenanigans. Hard to be overly critical of a good-natured movie with this cast. Would recommend to anyone who regularly watched the Nashville Network or Hee Haw. Burt Reynolds in cameo as a saloon gambler. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a fan of westerns but I was highly entertained by this Western/Comedy for a good time and its something I would defo watch again.
