Tyler C Would absolutely have loved to be a part of this fantastic film! The acting rocked and the filming was stellar. Set design and directing was superb. I almost had a part in it, met with Mr. Villani while I was on orders to Gulfport Mississippi. Considering some other Navy folks were involved there is no excuse for the errors. Ultimately I decided to not participate but wish I tried. The USS Drum was used in the film so if anyone is ever in Mobile Alabama it's worth the tour. A lot of work went into that boat for the film. But the acting was horrific - every single actor should turn in their SAG cards. The Navy sailors wore no insignia, no submarine dolphins, heck, randomly no shirts at all. Except for the Vice Admiral in the beginning. The gangsters at the end were…confusing. And the 3rd Armored Division troops at the end were completely out of place.
