Garry Marshall...knows his audience... He delivers what we expect and here he does it all tied up in a heart-shaped box with a big red bow - make that lots of big red bows. Kitschy? You bet. But it's fun!

Perhaps it’s time to establish an official committee with an unshakeable sense of civic duty, whose sole purpose would be to determine whether a film qualifies as pure, unadulterated garbage. If deemed "worthy", it would be respectfully escorted to a designated channel reserved exclusively for cinematic disasters, where it can frolic freely among its kind. 'Valentine’s Day' would find itself right at home, there, nestled comfortably between 'Disasterpiece Theatre' reruns and infomercials for products nobody asked for.
