Esther V I'm going to start by saying that the film was shot in Miami, where I live, and it was made by a local filmmaker and for that I gave the film an extra 1/2 star. The movie is beautifully photographed, well acted, and the characters are realistic and quite colorful. The project is a very good representation of the latin community in the 305 and as long as you watch it with the understanding that it is a slow-brooding drama and not high-paced thriller it is quite an enjoyable watch. It was pretty obvious to me that the director did his homework and immersed himself in the world he portrayed in the film, thus it is a realistic and gritty film. Good job!
