Writer-director Tom DeNucci, co-writer B. Dolan and a superb cast work hard to bring a fascinating, largely forgotten true story to life, though an inconsistent tone and an over-reliance on genre clichés keep the movie from realizing its potential.

If Palminteri ever gets another vehicle as suited to his talents as The Usual Suspects it'll be equally memorable, but this isn't it, evidenced by his laidback coasting through most of his scenes.

Listen, if you are a fan of this genre and enjoy watching organized crime type movies...this is a solid watch. Bottom line, I would recommend for those who like these films...100%. You will be entertained.

3 Stars; Two small time crooks make the Big Time when they successfully heist 30 million dollars From a bank Vault. At the time, it was the largest bank robbery In US history The only problem is the money belonged to the Mafia. This was certainly not the 1st time I've seen this plot. What was different was that this was a true story.

This movie tries to be a movie like "Casino", "The Irishman", or even "The Godfather". Tries, but fails. It feels cringe and fake.

Ocean # this is not. I guess in the 70s all you had to do to rob a vault was show up with a gun and a truck. You are not even sure who or why the crew is getting whacked until the end. Since this is supposedly a true story I guess you can give it a pass for being boring.
