Writer-director Tom DeNucci, co-writer B. Dolan and a superb cast work hard to bring a fascinating, largely forgotten true story to life, though an inconsistent tone and an over-reliance on genre clichés keep the movie from realizing its potential. Go to Full Review
Justin Lowe The Hollywood Reporter 06/14/2019
If Palminteri ever gets another vehicle as suited to his talents as The Usual Suspects it'll be equally memorable, but this isn't it, evidenced by his laidback coasting through most of his scenes. Go to Full Review

Some intriguing true-life source material and a gritty retro visual style are brushed aside in favor of genre clichés in this uneven heist thriller. Go to Full Review

At the time, it was the largest bank robbery In US history The only problem is the money belonged to the Mafia. This was certainly not the 1st time I've seen this plot. What was different was that this was a true story. See more 12/29/2022 This movie tries to be a movie like "Casino", "The Irishman", or even "The Godfather". Tries, but fails. It feels cringe and fake. See more bryan b @heybryan 04/23/2021 Ocean # this is not. I guess in the 70s all you had to do to rob a vault was show up with a gun and a truck. You are not even sure who or why the crew is getting whacked until the end. Since this is supposedly a true story I guess you can give it a pass for being boring. See more Read all reviews
