I've never before watched a Veggie Tale, but this one was very enjoyable for an adult, and seemed wonderful for kids, too, of course. Veggie Tales changed mixed together different plot points and settings, but kept some cute minor things very close to the original. Highly recommended with great messages for adults and kids.
