Lloyd S 05/29/2024 Calling a horror this movie is an insult to the entire genre. First, there are no jump scares, nothing scary at all, just blood and messy plot about witches eating girls and trying to resurrect some kind of spirit of pain or whatever. Guess the screenwriter imagination is very limited to think all these is enough to make a movie scary. Second, the backstory is all summarized in few seconds, when Lucia finds the newspapers. BUT as thrilling and entertaining as this movie is I had to make a genuine effort to keep paying attention to it due to the magnetic and earth-shattering beauty of the lead actress, Ester Exposito.
