However, the screenplay quickly becomes the film’s biggest weakness, as it feels overwritten and overly eager to force emotional connections that never truly form. Dialogue often drags, explaining feelings instead of allowing them to develop naturally, which makes the pacing feel cluttered. While the director keeps the characters moving and the story active, many of the performances feel restrained by thin character development. The mystery itself never builds real tension, with low stakes and a resolution that arrives without impact. Romantic chemistry is minimal, making the emotional payoff feel rushed and predictable.
